Social Security Pensions – Required Documents When submitting applications for various social security pensions granted through Meenachil Grama Panchayat, required documents must be submitted according to the specific pension category.

Common Documents Required for All Pensions

  • Aadhaar Card / Identity Proof

  • Age Proof Document

Category-Specific Additional Documents

1. Agricultural Labour Pension

  • Document / Certificate proving work as an agricultural worker

  • Document proving membership in the Kerala Agricultural Workers Welfare Board

  • Criteria: The applicant must have completed 60 years of age and worked as an agricultural labourer for a specified period.

2. Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension

  • General documents listed above establishing age, income, and financial status.

3. Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension

  • Disability Certificate

  • Official medical documents clearly stating the percentage of disability.

4. Pension for Unmarried Women Above 50 Years

  • Certificate / Affidavit proving the applicant is unmarried.

  • Criteria: The applicant must have completed 50 years of age.

5. Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension

  • Death Certificate of the husband

  • Certificate / Declaration stating that the applicant has not remarried.
